Preparation for Dollard Conference – Built on Asus laptop
06/22/2022: DOLLARD17 – incorporated the ico-sphere as containers for labs to fit with the scheme
movement dampening on the cascadian shows a big improvement on quality of movement
Incorporated new slideshow for presentation
Did some planning for arrival taking viewers of event into consideration.
06/21/2022: DOLLARD16 – disabled rendering of the skeleton, presentation scaled down.
Actions: sphere/icosohedron/buckyball (geodesic dome) instead of cube for lab,
damping the handle on cascadian
fill the gap between frame and window at back of spacecraft
06/20/2022: DOLLARD15 – frame normals were inverted, clipped to the outside – reworked material for the frame, texture really works now.
Changed the waypoint for the presentation incorporated into spaceship main body in front of skeleton, needs scaling down and skeleton removed for Dollard conference.
Moved spaceship to higher location and increased the far clip plane from 3500 to 5000.
06/19/2022: DOLLARD14 – incorporated the two labs DRoom1/DRoom2 into the platform of the frame,
playing with double sided materials in the skeleton created a bone material.. applied to all mesh geometry in the skeleton which introduced performance issues.
Need to find an efficient material for the skeleton from a performance perspective.

06/18/2022: DOLLARD13 – inversion of default cube for creation of 2 dark rooms (works beautifully adds a play-space into research and development).
Moved cascadian to internal room on ship, parented to dark room1.
Looking at having interstitial distance between elements adjustable along with movement damping.
Used VivaLaVox lamp for camera direction, became a very useful toy for images.
Looked at cleaning up the tubing, skeleton needs to be lifted to show full feet bones.
Add side to side movement of render texture to face (animation).
For consideration, waypoint adjustment to inside the spaceship.
06/17/2022: DOLLARD12 – render to texture duplication of structure added to spaceship – added interactive container for camera.
Removed skeleton from front, better performance.
Noticing the rims are poking through, look at design aspects.
Another collider presented itself, for removal.
06/16/2022: DOLLARD11 – imported cascadian from proto3, vertebra L5 brought with it the entire skeletal blender file.
Incorporated Dale’s work from last night into frame discussed bringing radius of bevel down to .01 in front section of ship.
Enjoyed exploring skeletal system at this extremely large scale, and flying through the tunnels.
Performance issues with rendering most likely heavy vertex pipeline load due to new geometry
06/15/2022: DOLLARD09/10 – tube generation using the curve path workflow later added double sided material in v10,
interesting experience travelling through tube
– potential teleport possibilities. Worked UV mapping on the bone structure added texture to albedo map.
06/12/2022: DOLLARD08 – experimenting with double sided material, took out normal map and surface maps to check lighting…
scaled spacecraft up significantly, inspected inside bones working out how to remove/blend sharp edges.
Put a rail on the edge perhaps… if we want to get exotic have things running around on rail – lights or objects/fish?
06/12/2022: DOLLARD07 – bought URP Cicadia double sided material and added a VERY BIG spacecraft to MarsExplorer,
think for creative ways to make inside the bones a fun experience, de-collide the lungs.
06/12/2022: DOLLARD05/06 the wand works, return to project proto_002
05/22/2022: DOLLARD03 initiation, things to address – wand not showing, scene management, update spaceship to Matt’s newest version, focus on network player.
